Great coffee and very friendly staff who create a welcoming atmosphere. However, I’m not a fan of the practice of placing the EFTPOS machine in front of you to prompt for tips. I understand it’s common in many places now, but it can feel a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that, everything else is excellent!

CIEL is easily my favorite cafe in Melbourne. Every dish I've tried has been incredibly flavorful and beautifully prepared. The coffee is consistently top-notch, and the overall experience is always a treat. Heads-up: The kitchen closes at 2pm, so don't miss out – get there early!

Phenomenal breakfast in Southbank, when we arrived it was quite busy, but were greeted so warmly and kept updated on table openings, the coffee was incredible and the eggs Benedict was amazing. I also got the Mont Blanc iced coffee which was one of the most delicious iced beverages I’ve ever had, truly a beautiful experience. Every staff member was so welcoming and friendly, I can’t rate this place highly enough. 20 out of 10!!!

This is such a nice cafe at Southbank! Was on holiday in Melbourne and found this cafe when walking back to the apartment. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Not forgetting to mention, coffee and food are above my expectations. Ordered the Eggs on Toast and Chicken burger. And they tasted so good. Love it and will definitely be back again
