Two Birds One Stone Cafe South Yarra

A beautiful day in Melbourne to go have some brunch. This place was recommended by a friend of mine, and I can say it lived up to the hype! I had a very well made cappuccino, as well as their Chili Scrambled eggs that had a surprising bit of sweetness to it but not too overbearing. Balanced with the chorizo and feta, this was (for me) the perfect breakfast option! My friends had the egg breakfast, and the French toast, which though it’s only two slices it is quite filling so don’t be put off by portion. Will visit again for sure!

Went on a weekday around brunch/lunch time with a friend. The vibes, environment and atmosphere were very relaxed and very chill. Service was great, food was delicious and well priced + good portion sizes and options. A great place to chat and catch up without the hustle of the city. It's quite easy to get to since it's so close to the station, so a recommended place if you'd like something chill and relaxing!

Arrived here and was asked if we had a reservation but a staff member who seemed a bit unhappy. I could be wrong. We said No. Offered us high stools by the windows. I saw a table empty but with dirty dishes on it. Maybe too hard to clean it for us? Ordered our food and coffee. I felt like the service staff are not very happy to work. Food and coffee amazing. Later I saw many empty tables but did not offer to move us. Overall, food and coffee was amazing. Service will need more improvement. My advice to staff members, you are getting paid to do a job, do it properly with a smile and gently. We paid top dollar for you're food and service. Could not even split the bill! Thank you.

The dining experience was excellent. We ordered two dishes: Fresh Chili Scrambled Eggs and Sauteed Mixed Mushrooms. The Fresh Chili Scrambled Eggs were different from what you usually find elsewhere; they used fresh chilies, and the eggs were incredibly tender. The Sauteed Mixed Mushrooms featured a variety of mushrooms served with two poached eggs on top of a slice of toast, which had a firm and crispy texture—healthy and delicious. Both dishes were very generous in portion, leaving us feeling full. We'll definitely be back next time.
