This place has it all. Oh and do I even need to mention the incredible personalities and service of all the staff? This will turn into your go-to spot after you visit.

I went to this event there on Sunday called Beat Mystique. They had a live band playing that was unreal. The food and booze were great with 90’s pricing. The lighting and sound stole the show for me though. You gotta check this out if you are into live music. Apparently they run this event every Sunday!!

Fantastic food and drinks. Very affordable. The prosciutto pizza and chicken burger were super flavoursome and generously topped with ingredients. Jordan was super friendly and made us feel like family. Loved the DJ but it was just a tad loud for us inside so we found a table outside instead. Will be back for sure!

New update: Republica Economica is a Chapel St institution. It's that sweet spot between club, bar, and decent dinner place. During the day, it's a busy cafe. The bartenders are familiar faces, legends even - good banter, friendly, and they know their way around a cocktail. The waitstaff are all decked out in the latest threads, which adds to the atmosphere. And weekends? They've always got a fresh DJ spinning until the AM, keeping the place pumping. If you want a spot that's always lively, with solid drinks, a stylish crowd, and tunes that make you wanna dance, Republica Economica is it. Just a heads-up though - I'd give their current chai a miss. It's a sad, watery, wannabe-fancy leaf brew. A real downgrade from their once-amazing signature chai latte and iced chai. This new venue has changed the world of South Yarra. Life is bustling. I've never seen such a remake of a place into a new palace of experiences. During the day the vibe is great with a soft light and warm heaters, it feels homey.
