Had lovely coffee and cakes and breakfast here on Saturday morning. Everything tasted great, but we ordered several milkshakes and for $12 getting them served in a 200ml cup was really underwhelming. Understand not a huge milkshake container because those things are too big, but for $12 definitely expected maybe a glass jar with a handle type size. The steel straws though were awesome, so much better than paper. Felt like the drinks were being chilled even as we slurped the milkshake.

First of all, St. Ali serves you the best coffee in Melbourne. As a coffee lover I must say this place is a main reason why we travel to Melbourne for our Christmas. Here is absolutely the No.1 place for coffee fans! We are so satisfied with Tony’s team with their magical drinks and food. Their batch brew shocked us on Christmas Day and we back again before we leave. Tony is an amazing guy with great personality and he always treats customers as family members. We cannot say how lucky we are that meeting you here and we must move to Melbourne for our next stop when you are here. Thank you Queen Tony! Cannot wait to see you again! Charlie and Emily

First time visiting St Ali was Christmas Day Lunch and I couldn’t fault it. The service was brilliant, we were well looked after as there were so many staff members working and always attentive taking our plates and asking if we would like more drinks. The food was in abundance, and it all was delicious - especially the beef ribs which was the star of the show for all 4 of us who dined. As a “smaller” buffet compared to some of the restaurants offering xmas day lunch, this was by far the best bang for your buck. Still loads of options and nothing was ever out of stock or waiting for a fresh batch. We were extremely pleased. Thank you to everyone who was working on Christmas Day :)

In my books this is best Cafe in Melbourne, immaculate vibes, friendliest service, and most importantly the food is absolutely delicious! My partner and I are from Sydney and use this place as the gold standard when trying new cafes. When we last visited in June we both opted for the Dirty Eggs and a few months later now we still bring up how good this breakfast was. The entire staff have a deep respect and love for what they do and it’s downright beautiful to witness, we can’t wait to visit again very soon!
