Melbourne Bakehouse

Bakehouse Bliss!! This was my first Melbourne Bakehouse experience and they will certainly be many more!! The staff were very attentive, warm, friendly and provided the best of service. It was hard to choose from the mini beautiful looking cakes, which all really hit the spot. I highly recommend Melbourne bakehouse to locals and visit us alike.. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is my go to for some what classic but not dry celebration cakes, I have tried others but this id the best one for price and quality. Wish they had different flavours for birthdays e.g blackforest though or red velvet. Service although is fast is just odd sometimes if the older ladies are serving i don't know why been like that for years, like they just don't wanna be there otherwise fast and efficient. I have tried most things here over the years and wasn't a huge fan of their pies, surprisingly Ferguson place was better when compared. When it comes to seating it really feels outdated and they could easily have expanded it to next door where it hasn't been a business for years of course if our local council could get supportive of our thriving local business and approve it, would be nice to have a summer seating there gets nice light, other seating feels so dark and gloomy. Anyways if you're looking for a celebration cake at a fair price then you're at the right place, the small desserts are not bad either. They aren't luxury, just a wholesome bakery type of awesome This small cake was $25 for i would say up to 15 people small slices, we had it for 6 people and had left overs for a week.

Amazing service and food / coffee. Not many country style bake houses around inner city area and was delightful to find this gem! Lovely staff as well. Will definitely be coming here from now on.

Great bakery in Port Melbourne that has impressive range of desserts baked fresh daily. Highly recommend the meat pies and sausage rolls which are served hot straight from the oven. Pies are generously sized and packed with meat for a reasonable price of $5-$6 each. Sandwich bar is also good for custom made sandwiches made to order. Prices overall are ok, indoor and outdoor seating areas. Pet friendly.

Great to find somewhere that does such great fresh made to order sandwiches with a small and great customer service! Seems rare these days. Great older style country bakehouse with great atmosphere. 1st but not the last time I visit here. Thanks guys.
