Hurricane Handsome

Delicious and impressive brunch! Coffee was normal not bad but the food is so good! Very generous portion, very fresh and didn’t take long for kitchen to get it ready! Everything is so on point, the juicy burger, crispy chips, fresh bread and baked eggs. The only thing is the bread smell quite greasy probably was placed on the grill that just cooked meat, so I didn’t eat much of it.

I had the spiced beef hash with a side of soardough, which was really tasty. Also ordered chips for the table, which were great. Service was fantastic, and the food came out quickly. The only downside is that my partner ordered scrambled eggs on toast - the toast was such a small slice. It would have been better on a bigger piece of toast, or if two slices of toast were included in the meal, it looked like a kid's serving.

Very busy café with fantastic coffee and mixed opinions on the food. Our table loved the Baba Ganoush and Chilli Eggs (extra chilli would have been even better) but thought the Beetroot Fritters would be better enjoyed had they been smaller and less dry.

The food is tasty but the prices are a bit ridiculous -- a bowl of sweet potato fries were around $17..? Not worth it. Enjoyed the experience but not super tempted to go back for that reason.

If ever in Port Melbourne in the morning or lunchtime, do not skip visit Hurricane Handsome! The food was just amazing! Everything was top quality and fresh! Staff are magnificent! They will get out of their way to accommodate all needs. Hurricane Handsome is the best place for breakfast and lunch in Port Melbourne, by far!
