Consistently delicious food 🍳 gorgeous Melbourne hospitality 🫶 and a venue and atmosphere to match 🙌 whenever I have friends visiting Melbourne it’s my go to that never fails to impress, and I always love my visits. Thanks team for always making HG such a nice visit. 🔥 hot tip, book ahead if you can! Especially weekends, otherwise the wait can be pretty long. If you haven’t booked try to get in early to avoid the line! Otherwise you can enjoy a coffee in their outdoor area while you wait too x

The half-hour wait to get in was worth it for the experience. While the menu options are limited, the dishes are unique and creatively presented, showcasing a thoughtful approach to food. The coffee was decent. The cafe’s heritage rustic style building adds a lot of charm, which I personally loved. However, the loud music detracts from the ambiance, making it less ideal for a relaxed catch-up. Overall, a good spot for a special outing if you’re willing to wait, but perhaps not for quiet conversations. And make sure you book in advance!
