Not a bad experience, but some elements could be improved. Service is casual and perhaps a touch overly relaxed, the place was not busy on thevtwo ocassions I visited, not sure if that is an indicator though. The smashed avocado is a very generous portion of food, but lacked seasoning, so after half the dish, it was monotonous and frankly boring to eat. The coconut chicken salad, was possibly worse in terms of seasoning and general make up, I could not make out and stand out flavours and again a big portion which was again boring after a few mouthfuls. Coffee was good.

Had brunch at premises, BLAT and my friend had Portuguese chicken wrap. Food met our expectations. This cafe has small indoor seating area with geneours seating outside cafe. Staff was polite with outstanding communication. Have been to this cafe many times for coffee also. I enjoy their hot choclate and coffeeโ๏ธ .

They go for a maximalist approach which I appreciated, while still maintaining the harmony of flavours and colour that was so bright. โค I had seen the beauty that was the Potato Rosti Benedict when I stopped by the cafe another day. I was dying to get my hands on it. A savoury delight, the smoked salmon DELIEVERED with its smokiness. The poached egg added a much needed creaminess to and overall decadent and the elements of smashed peas, nuttiness from the pumpkin hummus made it for an overwhelming great experience. Caution: portions are generous and may be too savoury for some! ๐ The service on that particular Saturday was incredibly slow. I'm talking almost a 1 hour wait for food, when we were advised for 30-40 mins. ๐ญ ๐ง It was nice we were immediately seated, but also nicer that the chefs gave us a complimentary warmed chocolate muffin. The small gestures definitely goes far and redeemed them in my eyes! A local joint in Kensington, the staff is friendly and are helpful and ready to assist. Food is great, portions are delicious. What more could you want from an excellent brunch place?! ๐

Great little cafe with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was unbelievably good. The fried chicken waffle wasn't too sweet, had a sophisticated blend of spice, sweet and savoury and the crispy carrot slices topped it off. Not usually something I'd order but was blown away!

A great place for breakfast, brunch or even lunch. Tables are spaced enough to allow conversations with friends without distractions. Food was great and prices average. Friendly staff and friendly service. Will return!
