Discovering hidden gems as a tourist is always a delight! Bentwood Café was one such place we stumbled upon, nestled in the heart of Fitzroy. It was an absolute treat! We ordered: - French Toast: Just the right balance of sweetness and tartness. - Waffles: Ordered from the kids' menu and did not disappoint. - Chilli Eggs: Loved the subtle hint of spice! - Smashed Avocado w Feta: Creamy and perfectly balanced. - Cappuccino & Flat White: Simply perfect. Everything was amazing! We're hoping to sneak in another visit before we leave :) Highly recommend this place !

I loved the orange interiors and the lovely food. We ordered the smashed avacado, the waffles, the scrambled eggs and the French toast. The large windows looking at the road give a lovely view into Old Fitzroy. Bentwood, true to its name uses bent wood in its table and chairs, which goes well with the modern interiors. Great food, lovely views, and furniture true to its name make this a place to be when one is in Fitzroy or Melbourne.

Went to this amazing cafe yesterday & we absolutely loved it! Such a beautiful space, the food was amazing and they catered for my allergies! Such friendly staff and such a beautiful spot in the heart of Fitzroy! So perfect for functions, definitely would love to have my next birthday event here! Coffee was delicious too!
