Babka Bakery Cafe

Omg! Best cafe/restaurant place in Fitzroy! The food is so good (especially the cheesecake and crossiants) the place is lovely and the people are so nice. The food isn't overpriced at all for the quality of it and how good it is. Best chai ever! It's so good but I can't really explain it, takeaway chai is a good size but dine in is a massive cup I could barely finish it. I got the cheesecake twice and going to come back for a third because it's so good! I love the atmosphere too and I definitely recommend this place for breakfast or lunch!

Wonderful and genuine service from the barista. Typical old school type service that you don’t really get anywhere else which was a refreshing change! Good was nice. Lots of sweet treats in the display cabinets. Will definitely return to try some others!

Massive sandwiches that aren't soaked through with butter - which is quite the rarity. Baked goods are excellent too - vanilla slice, challah, lemon tart & chocolate mud cake.

Bloody good pies. My partner brought me a take away chunky beef pie, which was delicious. Really good pastry, gravy, and soft chunky beef! I also had a cheese and spinach roll, which was big and tasty. But the beef pie 😋 See you soon.

lovely bakery/cafe that is ideal for brunch or grabbing some cake. I had the pesto mushroom mozzarella sandwich it was beyond delicious. We also had the menemen, which was not fully authentic but still good but in my opinion slightly overpriced. Selection of cakes is mind blowing and the fresh orange juice was delicious.
