We dropped in to the Tin Pot (an institution in North Fitzroy) for lunch on a trip north, and were lucky enough to get a table in this very busy cafe. The staff were friendly and efficient, and we were seated with coffee served quickly. The cafe has a great ambience, with furniture and fittings giving an old world feel. The food was good and just what we wanted, but menu items are not always available so you need to get in early. Overall a great experience and good value for money.

First time here alone and I really enjoyed it. Staff were very accomodating. Interior is so cosy and beautifully decorated. Coffee was perfectly made and delicious. For brunch I ordered the crispy prosciutto with scramble. The prosciutto was delicious but I feel there wasn’t that much flavour overall for the dish. I’d like to come back and try another dish because everything sounded good on the menu. Definitely coming back and will brings friends :)

I finally tried Tin Pot Cafe today, and I’m so glad I did! The atmosphere is just lovely, really warm and inviting. The staff were all super friendly and attentive, and they made sure my dietary needs were well taken care of. One of the team recommended the Cherry Pie, and it was amazing! This place is definitely going to be a regular spot for me!!
