Stopped by just after 11am on a Saturday morning. Staff were warm and lovely, and it was fairly busy with people eating a brunch or grabbing a coffee. It seemed many locals come by, as I spotted one of the gentleman working - who looked like the owner - chatting with some people. Great atmosphere and vibe in general. Good amount of outdoor seating and some seating indoors too. Ordered an oat latte, then a smashed avo with sauteed spinach on the side. My usual order for brunch would have been with a side of smoked salmon but they didn’t have this as an option unfortunately. Still a very fresh and yummy brunch. I was chuffed with the two poached eggs! I spent about $37 approx for my brunch and coffee - with my oat milk, and the weekend surcharge - standard pricing. Overall, it was a really nice experience. I will become a regular after morning appointments in the Elwood area ☺️

The place, the food, and the staff were all perfect. I initially thought this place, which seemed very small and cozy, might not be special, but I was totally wrong! It turned out to be a hidden gem. The atmosphere was very comfortable and warm. The food was great, and the coffee was a perfect match! Especially noteworthy were the staff, who were nice and considerate. When I ordered the eggs Benedict without ham, the staff double-checked my order and suggested a different add-on. I chose mushrooms, and they were a high-quality addition. Hands down the best coffee and breakfast bayside 🤤 The toasties are next level, and the food and service never disappoint 😊 A family-run café, the staff are truly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. You can tell they really care about their customers. I can’t recommend it enough!

I have been to Miss Alex & Co every morning during my seven-week holiday in Melbourne and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough for great coffee, a lovely space to spend time and the friendliest, most helpful staff. Once visited, never forgotten and you will always go back. Thanks to you all for making me feel so at home
