Cat Cafe Melbourne

My partner and I had a great time here a few months ago, and we’re definitely looking forward to visiting again soon in February. We were immediately greeted at the door by Panda, then jumped by a bunch of treat-passionate cats. It was such an enjoyable experience spending time with the cats and watching how they interacted with each other and the guests. Obviously the cats will quickly prefer guests with treats, and leave as soon as they’ve eaten it all up (in favour of guests coming in with new treats) but I don’t think it gets any more hilariously“cat” than that.

My daughter and I visited today. I was a bit apprehensive because even though I love cats ( we have a cat at home) I’m not a big fan of cat smell and thought it’d be a mess with so many cats. Omg was I wrong, it was so beautiful and super clean. Staff was great and all cats were so beautiful and “fluffy.” Absolutely loved it, we could have stayed for hours cuddling all the cats. Definitely worth every cent. My daughter was over the moon

A nice place to interact with cats. But really you only get to pay them if you buy the treats. If you don’t buy treats you will be lucky to touch even 1 cat. It’s a cute place. But at $29 per person with a coffee - and perhaps 3-4 packs of treats at $4 each - it’s not a “cheap” outing by any means. A very wide range of breeds. And clearly some are rescues which is great to see they are getting a wonderful place to live with a wide range of activities to keep them engaged.

Note: read the website before going…and following staff’s instructions. This will make your visit so much better. I visited today and was impressed with how clean the place is, considering the amount of cats. The cats were wonderful and friendly….and very very cute!! Will definitely come back.
