Cosy little restaurant with a decent pizza and pasta menu. The cocktails are also very nice. We ordered a range of pizzas to share and they were all delicious each with a decent amount of toppings. The pizza dough was not too dense, rather light and still fluffy. Highly recommend if you're in the area and feel like pizza.

Sharing is caring when it comes to these slices of pizza perfection! Spelling might not be their strong point, but authentic delicious Napoli style pizza and appetising al dente pasta certainly is! The pizza crust was everything when it came to the pizzas and none of the pastas felt heavy or overdone. The Marinara Focaccia was a great entree but an even better side to dip into the irresistible pasta sauces. The Primavera Rigatoni felt like a perfect Spring's day in a bowl and the Gamberi Linguini wasn't oily and came loaded with king prawns. It had an ambience of a cute, dimly lit date night spot and with quality and service on point, I felt the prices reasonable. Also very family friendly with a kids menu and plenty of options from the basic to the little more gourmet. And bonus points for watching the staff treat every person who walked through the door as family. It was a humbling experience and one sure way to have me return again!

We had the most amazing family dinner here. Beautiful authentic Italian pizza & pasta, topped with fresh produce, cheese & herbs. The fig & stracciatella salad was so delicious, & my mama loved how many prawns were in her pasta plus fresh dill. Not your usual pasta and pizza joint. Great servings sizes, and not skimpy on the toppings. My mum loved her pasta so much she ordered an extra for takeaway!! 🤭 Really lovely service, & great cocktails too! These guys have a takeaway pizza joint in Pascoe Vale also. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing pizza! I’ve lived in Italy for a year and can confirm this local pizza meets the standard. Cool fit-out and vibe inside if you want to eat in. Very honest prices too, and a kids menu. What more could you want?

velocepizzaofficial has opened their second restaurant in Carlton North & we are so obsessed with this Italian feast 🍕🍝🍷. The pescatore linguine was the highlight of our meal. The seafood was generous & super fresh, and the Napoli sauce was richhh & hearty just how we like it. The salsiccia pizza was salty and umami, but not a stand-out dish for us. The aracini was well balanced and cheesy. For dessert we tried the sticky date pudding which was soft and gooey but slightly on the sweeter side for our liking, and the biscoff gelato was delicious but $9 for one scoop of icecream with crumbed biscoff cookies is pretty steep.
