Mavis the Grocer

We got such a delicious breakfast! The pancakes were unreal and a must try if you’re in the mood for something sweet! Everything we got was so delicious and we loved the vibe of cafe too! There is lots of indoor seating and some outdoor seating too. The coffee was also great! The homemade hash browns were insanely good and a great side!!

Great food and great atmosphere for a cosy coffee. This cafe is owned by the friendliest family, and the best staff. They make great food and coffee at reasonable prices. The inside dinning has lovely sunlit seats to keep warm in winter and always the daily newspaper on hand.

A great local place for brunch. We met friends here (as it's equal distance from Yarraville and Greensborough) for brunch. Easy to park with 2hr street parking. Service was warm and friendly. Food really tasty. Just be aware that the menu on the website doesn't reflect the menu in the restaurant - no pancakes, and the Mavis avocado smash doesn't come with grilled halloumi or beetroot relish.

Randomly entered Marvis the Grocer for lunch after my business in Abbotsford. Though i did not have any expectations, this little cafe/grocer is fantastic. Plenty of natural lights through big windows, super friendly yet non-intrusive serving staff and great choice of songs in the background. To top it all off, the foods taste amazing with fresh ingredients and the portion is very generous for the price. Highly recommended!
